We have a fantastic new opportunity for motivated, hardworking and driven individuals to work in a vibrant and exciting warehouse.

Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items.

Duties:

Must be committed and reliable to turn up to work every day and on time.

Duties will include general warehouse work within a busy warehouse environment which will involve: Receiving goods into a warehouse, loading and offloading vehicles, stock control, sweeping and general house keeping of the front warehouse yard and all other duties upon request.

Manual handling and lifting will be required and so adherence to health and safety policy is necessary at all times.

You will deal with customers on a daily basis so must be polite and happy to help.

Hours:

Your working day will be 9-5pm with the opportunity for overtime if desired.

Saturday working is desirable and can be claimed as overtime or time in lieu.

JOB VACANCY : SALES TEAM EXECUTIVE


We are looking for someone to join our sales team.

The sales office ensures the processing of sales enquiries which includes receiving and monitoring stock and inventory where appropriate. The sales team drive revenue for the company by seeking and engaging with potential customers. The sales team will work closely with the Managing Director to build key accounts with both customers and suppliers.  This includes responsibility for keeping up to date sales literature and maintaining stock levels for your products to enable the business to respond appropriately.

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The sales executive role is critical to the success of Metal Goods and has a direct impact on both the company, its colleague’s and customers.

The sales executive assists in the processing and distribution of company sales by combining technical knowledge with sales skills and experience to provide advice and support on a range of products for metal stockist and fabrication markets. Customers are typically from manufacturing sectors such as medical, industrial, automotive, robotics, infotainment, telecom, gaming, and defence and security industries.

You will be a key point of contact for customers and provide both pre and post-sales services.

You will work with other members of the sales team and colleagues from the warehouse and accounts departments, as well as senior company managers.
Working under the supervision of the Sales Manager, you will oversee and manage your own sales inventory and are responsible for the fulfilling of the quotation for the customer, ordering of stock to fulfil the order and liaising with the warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery/production of the order.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintaining relationships with potential new and existing clients.

Dealing with queries from customers.

Calculate accurate and competitive sales quotations and prepare tenders, proposals, designs and technical documents to meet customer deadlines.

Follow up quotations in a timely manner to secure profitable orders.

Negotiate contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and business needs.

Offer after-sales service and support to develop and grow long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

Searching for new leads, maximizing client potential for sale opportunities.

Build close relations with key suppliers in order to develop in-depth knowledge of your product range and to understand new product developments.

Analyse costs of sales, to be able to make informed pricing recommendations for core and new business opportunities; and propositions in emerging markets. Support the Sales Director and Sales Executives to achieve targets

Analyzing/auditing costs and sales.

Preparing sales reports for management.

Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects.

Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events where applicable and with consent from management

Helping in the design of custom-made products.

Undertake other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager.

Undertake stock checks and stock control inventory where applicable.

Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Take all reasonable steps to manage and promote a safe and healthy working environment which is free from discrimination.

Comply with client confidentiality and the Data Protection Act policies.

Comply with the company Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Respect the confidentiality and privacy of clients and staff at all times.

Ensure the cleanliness and operation of the sales office.

 

KEY SKILLS

Self-motivated and focused with a passion for manufacturing and an aptitude for customer satisfaction.

1 + years’ experience in Sales is desirable but not essential.

Computer literate.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong negotiation skills.

Exceptional Presentation skills as well as an experienced presenter in group setting to both technical and business audiences

Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Strong work ethic and “Can do” attitude

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Positive objective-oriented attitude and is able to work well in demanding and fast-paced environments

Good communication skills and good team player.

Flexible, friendly and enthusiastic attitude required.

Ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines.

Accurately follow written instructions.

Attention to detail whilst working in a fast paced, pressurized environment.
